About Hakan Tas
Designer by training, developer by trade. I build websites and web apps where the look and the engineering get the same care.
What I do
Most of my work is Next.js on a headless CMS, usually Sanity or Contentful. Sometimes it includes commerce on Medusa or Shopify Hydrogen, and the APIs and integrations that connect everything. I often join an agency's or a product team's project and work in their tools.
Background
I studied digital creativity at Hyper Island, then web development. That mix still shapes how I work: I care how a thing looks and moves, and how it is built. I also co-founded Adeptive, a small studio for projects that need a team.
Outside work
I photograph landscapes and cities, mostly with Sony full-frame cameras, and share the photos on Pexels. I also hike and cycle; the outdoors resets my eye.
